Accounts Payable Clerk

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. Other duties include cash receipt processing, collecting, sorting, and distributing mail, receptionist support, and maintaining accounting office files.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in automated accounting systems with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize competing projects with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and provide excellent customer service.

Three to five years of experience in accounts payable accounts receivable, receipting, or related field. Knowledge of 3-way matching and accounting transaction processing is a must. Non-Profit accounting experience is preferred
