Intake Specialist - Weatherization

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity, is seeking a dedicated and motivated administrative professional with a passion for serving others to join our Weatherization team as an Intake Specialist.

This position plays a key role in supporting the Weatherization Department by serving as the first point of contact for clients and helping ensure smooth and efficient program operations.

Major responsibilities include:

• Serve as initial contact for clients over the phone and in person.
• Perform generical clerical duties, including responding to inquiries, providing information, and assisting clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, track and log key data for reporting purposes.
• Prepare invoices for monthly expenses and contractor billing.
• Support program staff by assisting with follow-ups and ensuring documentation is complete and submitted for reporting.
• Assist clients with completing program applications.
• Support audits and inspections as needed to maintain compliance with program standards.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service
• Ability to multitask and manage a variety of clerical and administrative responsibilities.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Candidates are required to obtain BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification and the Quality Control Inspector (QCI) certification within 12 months of hire.
