Lead Job Coach

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as a Lead Job Coach providing daily supervision, direction and support to part-time Job Coaches and STL Youth Jobs Participants.

The Lead Job Coach will implement predetermined strategies to achieve contractual goals and coordination/monitoring of virtual and/or in-person service delivery. Must have advanced knowledge of computer and internet-based applications. This is a full-time, contract position.

The Lead Job Coach will:

• Provide general oversight to part-time coaches conducting virtual and in-person program enrollments, training sessions, job readiness activities, and worksite monitoring with youth participants.
• Schedule all required job readiness, financial literacy, and professional development training activities.
• Develop strategies for part-time coaches that encourage youth engagement and participation in program activities, as well as the development of strong work habits.
• Develop strategies for part-time coaches to implement, that strengthen youth problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills.
• Identify and share relevant job/educational opportunities and supportive services for participants.
• Conduct regular, ongoing analyses of the online case management system to ensure part-time coaches record all participant activities in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and submit reporting documents to Program Manager and funder, as requested.

The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human service field, work experience/coursework in public administration and three years of experience working with clients of all demographics and the general community are desirable. Current/past educators with strong computer skills are encouraged to apply.
