Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as an Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator to support the Construction Apprenticeship Readiness program in our St. Clair County Outreach center.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract target audiences.
• Organize and attend job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with schools, community organizations, and businesses.
• Conduct presentations, workshops, and informational sessions to promote programs and opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, community leaders, and partner organizations.
• Develop outreach materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
• Utilize social media, email campaigns, and other platforms to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional content.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates and track engagement.
• Track and analyze recruitment data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
• Provide reports and recommendations for improving recruitment efforts.
• Case management of new recruits to help ensure continued success and completion in the program.
• May require evening and weekend availability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualified individuals must have:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in outreach, recruitment, community engagement, or related roles.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Experience with social media and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
