Program Counselor - Women's Business Center

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to join our Women's Business Center team as a Program Counselor.

Major responsibilities include:

• Manage files of COVID counseling clients and training in accordance with SBA compliance.
• Manage and respond to inquiries for counseling and business development trainings.
• Assess client's level of assistance, provide assistance, or refer clients to resource partners for assistance.
• Make recommendations to clients where we can best serve them.
• Coordinate data collection and documentation with the Assistant Director/Director, the local SBA offices and National SBA offices to assist in the reporting of the economic impact when requested.
• Monitor training sessions to ensure we are meeting the needs of clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications or a related area.
• A minimum of 4 years of client services, program planning, data management and reporting duties.
• The ability to prioritize competing projects with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interact seamlessly with staff and individuals at all levels both internally and externally.
• The ability to make independent decisions within established policies and procedures with a plan of action and follow through.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
