Quality Assurance Specialist

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to join our Weatherization team as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will:

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of energy efficiency measures installed in homes.
• Ensure compliance with program standards and specifications.
• Provide support and guidance to team members to improve service delivery.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for program enhancement.
• Assist and prepare reports and maintain records of quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high level of service quality.

Qualified candidates must have a general knowledge of residential structures, letter and report composition, and Microsoft Office Suite computer software applications. Candidates must work independently; make sound decisions; demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature; establish work priorities; communicate clearly and distinctly with visitors and telephone callers; provide courteous information and service to the public; organize and maintain record and filing systems; and maintain a valid driver license and good driving record.

The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience. Education background should be equivalent to a high School diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in home construction/home repair; working knowledge of construction and/or home repair. BPI certification preferred.
