Rise Program Coordinator

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others to work as the Rise Program Coordinator to support the Division of Public Safety and Community Response.

The coordinator will:

• Plan all activities around neighborhood and church engagement.
• Review and measure current project needs.
• Partner with neighboring communities to provide resources and needed support.
• Recruit neighborhood partners to participate in COVID response efforts.
• Manage strategic partnerships within the community to maintain strong relationships with businesses and community groups.
• Compile data and interpret information relevant to the RISE COVID grant
• Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to date case notes.
• Completes data entry requirements, prepares general correspondence and reports.

Qualified individuals must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a wide range of experience managing clerical responsibilities while demonstrating tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature.

The above knowledge and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record.
